三田の住宅
およそ30年前に開発されたニュータウン
川沿いの桜並木に面して敷地はあります。
地盤面が、前面道路から1.7m上がった高さにあったため
半階ずつフロアを重ねていくスキップフロアの構成が自然と導き出されました。
道路から半階上がったダイニングと、そこから半階上がったリビングには
目の前の桜並木を眺めるための大きなガラス面を配しました。
リビングとダイニングはあえて独立した空間として距離をとり
それらをつなぐ家の中心に薪ストーブのあるホールがあります。
ホールとその上のリビングとは大階段でつなぎ、床レベルの違いがありながらも
一体的な広がりを感じられるよう意図しています。

The site is located in a new residential area that was developed nearly 30 years ago.
It is located facing a row of cherry blossom trees along the river.
The ground level was at a height of 1.7m above the front road.
The composition of the skipped floors, which are stacked half-floor by half-floor, was naturally derived from this project.
The dining room is half a floor above the road and the living room is half a floor above the dining room.
A large glass window is placed in front of the room to view the rows of cherry blossom trees.
The living room and the dining room are separated from each other by intentionally creating a distance between them.
At the heart of the house that connects them is the hall with the stove.
The hall is connected to the living room above it by a grand staircase, despite the difference in floor levels.
It's intended to give a sense of unity and expansiveness.
