オーナーは造園設計施工会社・荒木造園設計で、先代の社長からゆかりのある屋久島の自然を感じさせるカフェとギャラリーのスペースを設計することがテーマでした
外観と内観でともに特徴的な石積みは屋久島石を石の厚みを見せながら小端積みしたもので 林のように高木が茂るしっとりとした庭と相まって屋久島の空気感を感じさせるものとなっています

We designed a cafe space on the first floor of Cafe GULIGULI in Ikeda City, Osaka and a gallery space on the second floor that can be accessed from the garden.
The owner is Araki Landscaping Design, a landscaping design and construction company, and the theme was to design a cafe and gallery space that evokes the nature of Yakushima, which is closely associated with the previous president.
The distinctive masonry on both the exterior and interior is made of Yakushima stone piled in small sections, showing the thickness of the stone.
